BettingSitesNZ is an independent editorial site reviewing online betting operators available to New Zealand punters. We are not a bookmaker, we do not take bets, and we do not hold a wagering licence. Our role is to test, rate and explain the operators that NZ residents can legally use, with an editorial standard that puts Kiwi context first.

Editorial Methodology

Every operator we review is tested against an eight-point framework: licensing & trust, sports & racing markets, odds quality, bonuses & promotions, payments & withdrawals, mobile apps & UX, customer support and responsible gambling tools. We hold accounts at every operator we review, fund accounts in real money, and place real bets to test settlement and withdrawal experience. Reviews are refreshed at least twice a year and after any material product change.

Independence & Affiliate Disclosure

We may earn a commission when readers sign up at an operator via our links. Commissions never influence ratings or rankings — operators that score lower on our framework cannot pay to rank higher. Where commissions are not available (Pinnacle, TAB NZ in some configurations), we list operators on the same merits as commission-paying operators. Our editorial firewall is documented and our scoring framework is published transparently in the homepage methodology section.
